I recently had my 6x4m merbau deck sanded back by Clinton Tracy and his assistant Damien. the owner, Clinton was wonderful to deal with. I had many questions about the desired sanding finish and the different options in the marketplace for oils coatings. He had excellent communication and suggestions and I would highly recommend Quicksand for any floor sanding needs. It’s high quality service at a fair price. A wonderful job. Clint and his team restored our kitchen & laundry floorboards from old 60s tiles (removing glue etc), tackling a job several other companies I contacted wouldn’t. The results are amazing! We are thrilled. I can’t recommend Clint highly enough. Efficient, knowledgeable and willing to do that bit extra. Our house was also left spotless. Excellent service.

I told him exactly what I needed (sanding of a very scratched up floor in a 2 bed flat) and he gave me a very detailed run down as to what was involved and the cost. He made me feel comfortable, so I booked him. His staff turned up on the day and finished on time. The floor looks amazing, honestly I didn’t think some of the scratches would come out, but it looks brand new! I left the keys for the team to access, so I never even met Clint or the team. I booked on the phone and it was all very very easy. I’d definitely use them again and would gladly recommend them. Great work!

With a great quote and thorough consultation, that provided great advice and answers to all our flooring questions, we had no doubts that Clinton and his team were the experts to deal with our sad looking amberized spotted gum floor. Clint did an amazing job of repairing my floorboards and then sanding & repolishing the floors in the full apartment. The floors have never looked better! Great communication, competitive pricing and very punctual! Would highly recommend for any flooring jobs.

Clint removed the carpet and polished and stained the floor in two rooms of our circa 1900’s terrace home.
