I recently had my 6x4m merbau deck sanded back by Clinton Tracy and his assistant Damien. the owner, Clinton was wonderful to deal with. I had many questions about the desired sanding finish and the different options in the marketplace for oils coatings. He had excellent communication and suggestions and I would highly recommend Quicksand for any floor sanding needs. It’s high quality service at a fair price. A wonderful job. Clint provided great service for my clients house. He went the extra mile and mixed up numerous stain colours to test in different areas of the house. We have been very happy with the result. I look forward to working with him for future projects. He knows all there is about timber floors and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend.

I told him exactly what I needed (sanding of a very scratched up floor in a 2 bed flat) and he gave me a very detailed run down as to what was involved and the cost. He made me feel comfortable, so I booked him. His staff turned up on the day and finished on time. The floor looks amazing, honestly I didn’t think some of the scratches would come out, but it looks brand new! I left the keys for the team to access, so I never even met Clint or the team. I booked on the phone and it was all very very easy. I’d definitely use them again and would gladly recommend them. Great work!

We renovated our house and it was a big job in terms of repairing floorboards, patching and sanding back where old vinyl had been for 40 years. Clint is a perfectionist and could not have done a better job. He was well priced, explained the job with no room for confusion and the floors are EXCEPTIONAL.
